MISSION
The goal of Youth Speak Edmonton is to give youth a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space to share their stories with other youth. There is a need in our city and across the globe for young people to feel accepted and know that they're not alone in their struggles. Bullying is prevalent in schools and it's easy for students to feel rejected. We are youth ourselves, so we understand that these are real issues. While we recognize that schools have wonderful programs in place to empower students, Youth Speak Edmonton strives to act as an external peer support group, allowing youth to have a voice in their community. We believe that everyone has something to say and deserves to be heard!
