We founded Youth Speak Edmonton because we noticed that there was no 100% youth run organizations. I am most proud to run and co-found Youth Speak Edmonton because it really does help having someone there to trust and talk to.

Our History

2010 – Rafiki and Matt met and created the concept for Youth Speak Edmonton.

2011 – Youth Speak Edmonton was incorporated as a society with the Government of Alberta.

2011-2013 – Youth Speak Edmonton held bi-weekly meetings with youth and began to create Your Voice Matters Project.

2013 - Partnered with iHuman Youth Society in the Links Program.

2014 - Presented Your Voice Matters Program at various venues in Edmonton.
